As many of you already know, we’ll be wearing traditional Estonian folk costumes on our wedding day. We warmly encourage you to follow our lead with your own folk costumes—both for the ceremony and the celebration. Don’t worry about standing out—we already know many of you are joining in! Folk costumes allow for creativity, and if you don’t feel like wearing the full outfit all day, feel free to mix and match based on your comfort.
That said, you are just as welcome to come in any festive attire that feels comfortable for you. No need to rush to a rental shop at the last minute—we’re not throwing a costume party. The most important thing is that you feel good!
Congratulations & Gifts
You’ll have the chance to congratulate us right after the ceremony in the White Hall. Flowers are welcome, and if you’d like to give a gift, the best option is a financial contribution. You can also make a transfer to our joint bank account:

Song Requests
We’re still collecting your song requests to help shape the second half of the party playlist! The more variety in languages, places, and eras, the better. Songs can be with or without lyrics. To submit your request, please visit:
You can send in your suggestions right up until the wedding day.
Photography
We’ll have a photographer at the wedding, and after the congratulations in the White Hall, everyone will have the chance to take a photo with us. There will also be a photo spot set up at the party venue. Of course, feel free to take your own pictures throughout the day—we’d be very grateful if you could share some of them with us later. On our wedding day only, you can visit the University of Tartu Art Museum at the main building of the university (Ülikooli 18) for free to see the exhibition “Signs of Power”, curated by Ken.
The exhibition explores how different political regimes have shaped the university’s assembly hall over the past 200 years. The museum is open from 10:00 to 18:00. Just say the password: “Ken’s wedding” at the entrance.
Please note: due to construction, the main entrance of the university main building is closed. You can enter the museum from the courtyard side on Jakobi Street.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
NB! On the wedding day, our wonderful wedding helpers will be there for you: our friend Gerda, Ken’s sister Sandra, and Andrus’s cousin Margus.
